In my most recent post, I wrote about the spiritual war against the culture of death, drawing from a talk on spiritual warfare by Dr. John Cuddeback of the Institute of Catholic Culture. Dr. Cuddeback himself draws upon others in his talk: Saint Paul, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Fr. Edward Leen, Pope John Paul II. Tonight I read an article by Dr. Peter Kreeft, The Winning Strategy at The Integrated Catholic Life website.
Dr. Kreeft is one of my favorite authors and speakers. I’m reading three of his books right now and recently listened to many of his talks. I highly recommend all of his writing and talks, especially his strategy for winning the spiritual combat.
Read my earlier post: Who is to blame for the culture of death?
Read Peter Kreeft’s post: The Winning Strategy.
there are so many brothers and sisters that do not want to hear the truth about spiritual warfare. Dr Kreeft not only hits the nail on the head, but gives us a call to all, that even fewer will choose! The Winning Strategy touches on a reality that the American Catholic cannot swallow. EVIL IS! And we are losing souls everyday as a result of our apathy!
I pray that his article is not just read, but heeded. If we remain in the dark, we do not stand a chance in hell, against hell!
Blessings on you my brother!

Thanks for reading and commenting, Bro Jer. You’re right, I agree with you and Dr. Kreeft and Dr. Cuddeback. And Saints Thomas and Paul! We have to know we are in combat, we have to prepare, have to have faith in God, pray and receive His grace in the sacraments. Many American Christians ignore the reality of evil and that’s why the culture of death is all around us now. But there are many of us who are aware and are faithful to Christ.
Thanks again for reading and for your comments. Btw, I’m a sister not a brother. ;) Peace be with you!
