Right before my very eyes, poof! The Thursday night post just turned itself into the Friday afternoon post. It’s a miracle!
Well, not quite a miracle. I’ve been fighting off a cold and a headache and it’s been a losing battle. I’m halfway through the post, well, almost. So I’ll finish it and post it tomorrow. I sincerely apologize for having to do that, but there’s no way I can finish it tonight.
And if anybody out there is wondering how Major Tom is doing right now, so am I. He slipped out the front door this morning because he is his own man, er, cat, and ain’t nobody gonna keep him inside against his will. At least he got his meds this morning before he took off. How did he slip out, you ask? I had to get a delivery off the front porch and I had the door closed behind me but my oxygen tube kept it from closing all the way and Tom pushed the door open, heavy door that it was, and was away before I could do anything. He had slept on the sofa with me for so long, I almost thought he was going to give in and stay for at least one more day. But, nooooooooo. Oh, and what was the delivery that I had to get? It was a big covered litter box because the disposable ones I had were not working out for him. He kept scooping great pawful after pawful of litter and throwing it all around the box. That’s what it looked like he did, anyway, and he did this as loudly as possible.
Anyway, I’ll see you tomorrow. Also, you are invited to join me on Twitter at 7pm CDT for the Friday night Live Rosary. WE are praying to cultivate a culture of Life and Love and to end the culture of death. I begin posting some preliminary tweets at about 6:45pm CDT and the Rosary proper begins at 7pm.
Thank you for visiting and reading. Until tomorrow then, whoever and wherever you are, please stay safe and well, virtuous and holy. In this Easter season may you become who you were meant to be: a SAINT! May the Lord bless and keep you and yours, and may His peace be always with you. +JMJ+
