+JMJ+ Hey, y’all, I got interviewed for a podcast, I really did! You’ll get to hear me completely mess up the podcast host as she tries to pray the Hail Mary while I pray along with her out loud, not realizing that the sound won’t sync up (or that I’m off in LaLaLand and praying to my own rhythm in my own little world) and that I am behind and throwing her way off. I haven’t listened to the rest but I’m sure that there will be other moments just as bright and shining as that one was. Yup. That’s me. Bright and shining. ;) The real miracle was that I didn’t cough my sarcoidosis cough all the way through it. I had my trusty cuppa on my trust cuppa warmer nearby and lots and lots of cough drops just in case.
A while back I spoke with fellow member of Catholic Twitter, Leticia Velasquez, on her podcast, Living the Gospel of Life. It’s the first time I’ve ever been interviewed for a podcast. I’ve been asked by other people for other podcasts before but somehow it never worked out. This time it did! So here is my podcast broadcast debut! Woohoo! Hopefully, it won’t be my last. ;)
Living the Gospel of Life, Episode 75: Leticia Velasquez with Lee Lancaster, a former Methodist, New Ager, Buddhist, now a Catholic pro-life blogger (October 3, 2020)
We talked about so much for over an hour and I’m not sure I remember what we talked about or what I said. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I know we talked about my life growing up, my search for something that would help me understand how Christianity was supposed to work (that is exactly how I always thought of my search), my years in the New Age movement, how I discovered the Church and what drew me to her. Yes, I do think of the Church as a her. She is my Mother. Holy Mother Church.
How to Listen to the Podcast:
Listen to this episode of the podcast on iTunes, Spreaker, or on the podcast webpage at WCAT Radio.
It’s getting late. As soon as I post this I’ll fix some dinner (yes, I know it’s nearly midnight, later I’ll tell you about my day, and night, it’s been a humdinger) and listen to the episode and see what amazingly dumb things I may have said. Look, I know me only too well. ;)
Thank you for visiting and reading. Until next time, whoever and wherever you are, please stay safe and well, and virtuous and holy. May the Lord bless and keep you and yours, and may His peace be always with you. +JMJ+

To anyone who’s listened to the podcast: I tend to talk fast when I get excited and I get all outta breath. Did you hear how I tried to pray the Hail Mary with the host instead of shutting up and just letting her do it? Priceless. We got all tangled up. Yep, that’s my SuperPower! 🤣
