About Abby

+JMJ+ Mentioned Abby in my last post but forgot to explain, in case you’re new to following me or haven’t seen other posts or tweets where I’ve mentioned her, just who she was, so I’ll do that now.

Abby was my beloved companion of fifteen years until I lost her back in 2018. We made it through many things together, always together, including what may have been a heart attack for me and was definitely partial paralysis for her. But cancer was the one thing that could and finally did tear us apart.

I’ll always be thankful that the Lord let me have those fifteen years with her. She was the best dawg any hooman could ever have. She was and always will be my buddy and my pal. She was a very good girl.

In the video: Abby and Lucy. In the foreground, Abby Deerest, December 21, 2016, the Christmas after she became partially paralyzed and had to use a wheelchair. Abby was a good sport, well, sometimes, and always up for a party. Well, until 9pm which was her bedtime and that meant at home and in her own bed, thank you very much, well, in our bed until the paralysis thing. But she was fine with partying until her bedtime. At 9pm, though, all bets were off and the party was over. Oh, man, I miss that dawg.

I’m sure there’s a way to make that video smaller but I’ll have to figure it out later. Thanks for reading and watching. Until next time, whoever and wherever you are, I pray you’ll be safe and well, virtuous and holy. May the Lord bless and keep you, and may His peace be always with you. +JMJ+
