From my heart and mind to yours

+JMJ+ Family: I know the election is on everybody’s mind. I wrote another post for tonight, but I’ll save it for later. I want to say a few words to you right now, from my heart and mind to yours.

Don’t give up. Persevere!

Whether we win or lose this election, we belong to Christ, we are still here to become Saints, here to love our neighbors and help the needy and the sick and the poor, and that will never change. We are here to live the Beatitudes until we awaken into Eternal Life where we will enjoy the Beatific Vision with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and all the Angels and Saints, too.

Nothing any election or Republican or Democrat or Communist or Socialist or anyone else can take that away from us if we persevere and cling to Christ.

The Lord is reminding us of that, that we belong to Him and only to Him. Not to a country or a political party. Not to a sports team. Not to a university or an industry or anything else, but to HIM.

Let us remember that in the coming days. Let us remember it every day for the rest of our lives.

“And you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.”
1 Corinthians 3:23
