I’m exhausted yet exhilarated. Tired yet inspired. Been pushing myself, asking questions, letting the main character answer in his own voice. Letting him tell me what he sees, what he hears, what he thinks and feels. What he wants, doesn’t want, never wanted, always wanted. Why he left home, why he came back, what he expected to find, what he never expected to lose. I’m getting a sense of the world he lives in, a sense of how that world works. Or doesn’t. I can’t tell you much more right now but I can tell you: This is fun! And work. Work fun and fun work. The best kind. :)
Word count goal for the month: 50K. Nightly: 1,667. Tonight: Over 4K. Total: Almost 17k. Awright! Yeah! Uh huh! Uh huh! On a roll! :)
Btw, I never did get around to picking out a book to read last night. By the time I finally got in bed I was too tired. Tonight I may be too excited to read. But I want to. Probably going to read some of Patricia Treece‘s “Apparitions of Modern Saints : Appearances of Therese of Lisieux, Padre Pio, Don Bosco, and Others; Messages from God to His People on Earth.” Fascinating book. Also ordered a used copy of her book, “The Sanctified Body.” And, yes, I do plan to write something about what I’m reading. At some point. Really. I will. Soon. Ish. >.>
“An authentic study of 19th- and 20th-century occurrences of bodily mystical phenomena–levitation, bilocation, luminosity, the perfumes of sanctity, and inexplicable energy–this gripping and authoritative investigation is a profoundly thoughtful and engaging exploration of the human body as it is affected by ‘holiness.'” From the description of “The Sancitified Body” on Amazon.
Thanks for stopping by. God bless you and may His peace be with you always! :)
