Just wanted to mention three things before I close up the laptop and go home for some much-needed rest. (Yay!)

• October is the Month of the Rosary and Sunday, October 3, is Respect Life Sunday.
• “Rosary for Life and Vocations will be prayed at the Lourdes Grotto Shrine in Hanceville (at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament) on Sunday, October 3. The event will begin at 3 p.m. Bishop Baker will be in attendance.”
• L.A.R.C. Lutheran, Anglican and Roman Catholic Annual Conference to be held Tuesday, November 9 at Samford University. For more information, please call Frank Savage at 838-8303.

How interesting that that last one is coming up so soon. I was saying to someone earlier that I need to learn more about Lutheranism. A coinkydinky? I think not! ;) As for the Rosary for Life at the Lourdes Grotto, I attended last year and it rained torrentially last year. I’m planning to drive up there tomorrow and the forecast is for clear skies and temps in the 70’s. Yippee!
