Whew! I’m glad that’s over! Now I can slow down, take a deep breath, and figure out what my novel is really about. I was writing so fast (and I got so many story ideas in just the last few days alone), it’ll take a while to sort it all out. But that’s what Re-write Month is for, eh? And now that I know how to use yWriter for structure, I may actually end up with a story that I can let somebody read. Someday. Maybe. :)
Now I’m going to finish my tenth cup of coffee and treat myself to a great big cinnamon roll to celebrate. WOOHOO! Bring on the goodies! :)

What’s it about? Which version? I changed it so many times I’m sure my characters all hate me. ;) It has morphed into a story that only uses part of what I started with. I tossed most of the characters out with the trash and am starting over with a wildly revamped version of the ones I’m keeping.
Still doesn’t tell you what it’s about, does it? Nope, it doesn’t. Let’s just say it began as Scarlet’s Letter and was the story of a young girl who thinks she knows who she is. But she discovers that she isn’t. Isn’t who she thinks she is. And she gets tangled up trying to untangle the threads.
But I’ve chunked a lot of what I wrote. Almost everything, actually. I’ve decided to take it down a darker road than I originally intended.
We’ll see. I don’t know what I’m going to do finally with it. I’m still messing around with ideas. Which is why I don’t want to talk much about it. It’s still too fresh and vague. But I will share about it here when I get further along with it. Whatever it turns out to be. :)

And you may. One day. After a whole bunch of editing. :) I got several ideas that I think are going to be usable. I’m still getting ideas. That’s something that I love about NaNoWriMo. Aside from the pell mell write til you drop pace of it. I’m still recovering from starting late and the determination to end early. :P
I’m also researching an idea I got, well, that I got a long time ago and that I’m only now thinking I can begin to really work on.
And I still have to get back to the project I already started on here, the Mass and Salvation series. The list of projects grows. And so does my energy level and excitement. :)
