Forced abortions and sterilization continue to be part of China’s “family planning policy”. Hmmm, where have I heard that phrase before? Oh, I remember: Margaret Sanger and her oh-so innocently named “Planned Parenthood”. Doesn’t that sound nice, planned parenthood? Planned, huh? Whose plan is it? Margaret Sanger could not have cared less about the plans of the people she duped, and China has been doing ol’ Maggie proud for many years now. Below is an excerpt from the story of the human rights lawyer arrested after Obama exited the scene. The lawyer “had requested a meeting with President Obama…but was turned down.” What a surprise.
Beijing, China (LifeNews.com) — A Chinese human rights lawyer who is one of the attorneys for forced abortion opponent Chen Guangcheng, was arrested shortly after President Barack Obama departed China. Jiang Tianyong testified before a Congressional panel on November 10 sponsored by pro-life Rep. Chris Smith.
Tianyong, of Beijing Global Law Firm, had requested a meeting with President Obama with other human rights lawyers during Obama’s visit this week, but was turned down.
Smith’s office informed LifeNews.com late Friday that, after Obama left the country, Tianyong’s wife was beaten and he was hauled off by Chinese officials.
As legal counsel to Chen, who has helped draw international attention to the brutality of the one-child policy and the forced abortion and sterilization campaign used to enforce it, Tianyong testified before the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission.
He testified on these and other abuses of the family planning policy, which marks its 30th anniversary this year.

Yeah, but you know, abortion is all about women’s rights after all. *cough*

Yeah. *Cough* Women’s rights to have their babies ripped from their wombs because the government decides a woman doesn’t need any more children. And anyone who dares to speak out against it is beaten and hauled off to who knows where for who knows how long and who knows what will happen to him or her next?
China ranks right up there with the Netherlands, in my book. Yep, women’s rights. Gimme a break. Anyone who will kill a baby, there’s no telling what else they’ll do.
I’m keeping that lawyer, his wife, and all the victims of the Chinese government in my prayers. Lord, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
